Our permanent exhibit on the history of Cuban Exiles, is open every day from noon to 6:00 PM.
The American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora, in partnership with the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba, presents the “Castro Power Deck,” a research initiative that identifies the key figures within the Cuban regime’s decision-making structure.
Through 56 profiles: faces, positions, and trajectories. The project offers a clearer view of how power operates on the island, revealing internal networks and the political and military links that sustain the system.
Why is it important to support the latest call from Cuba’s pro-democracy opposition?
In this message, José Daniel Ferrer joins the appeal and explains why democratic governments should take a clear position ahead of the resolution that the Cuban regime is expected to present on October 27 and 28 at the United Nations General Assembly.
The initiative urges democratic nations to vote against the resolution or, at a minimum, abstain. It calls for targeted pressure on those responsible for repression and corruption, while supporting direct humanitarian aid for the Cuban people through reliable and independent organizations.

The American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora has quickly become the cultural heart of Cuban Miami, featuring live theater, performing arts, and rotating exhibits that celebrate the greatest artists and thinkers of the Cuban Diaspora, telling stories that cross borders.
Its upcoming permanent exhibit honors the courage of those who, with cries of “Viva Cristo Rey,” chose to die standing rather than live kneeling, endured imprisonment for speaking out, or built new lives as exiles, “sin patria, pero sin amo.”
Through this exhibit, visitors will recognize the threats to freedom today by exploring how a once-prosperous Cuba fell to dictatorship, and the enduring struggle to rebuild. At its core, the exhibit celebrates the American Dream, reflecting an immigrant community that thrives in America, cherishes its adopted home, and believes in its promise as a beacon of hope.
We invite you to join us on this journey.
